Leaving TMA

"Thank god its the end of the school year" I've been waiting along time for this and i am very glad to say that I'm ready to graduate. This school year wasn't that interesting I expected more but there was a lot of things to get done such as college applications, projects, and more. I remember the first day of school from the back of my head when we first walked in to having the senior brunch and until now. The years went by so fast i couldn't even keep up because i was so tired, but look at me now about to walk across the stage and get my diploma. What else can I say I know that my mom is very proud of me, family, friends, and my love one. I'm always going to keep them happy by making the right decisions but not only for them myself as well because i love myself more than I love anybody else.

Respect

Some individuals may not respect you for who you are.The only way you gain respect is by giving it back.I love respecting people because it always lift my spirit up and put a smile on my face because i get it back in return.I never can see my self disrespecting someone unless they really getting out of hand.There are disrespectful people out there in the world and i face it by walking right past with my music very loud. I'm not sure why I chose this topic and wrote about it. This was the first topic that came to my mind and I feel like everyone can relate to it. I was very respectful throughout my high school years and I will travel this with me throughout my entire life

Class related responce

My English class finished doing the Mid Summer Night Play and now we are writing essays on how Shakespeare view male and females differently. I found this second semester very interesting because the class was interacting with each other and discussing different ideas about the play even when WT was there. It was a great experience for me because i understand Shakespeare words and play now when i read it on my own i wont have to ask any questions.I wish we would of did a Socratic seminar on men and women on Shakespeare so i can get a better understanding on how to write my essay.

Family!! Free write

Being with my family brings me joy. I'm so happy that i have them, without them i don't know where i would be. I'm doing the best that i can to make them happy and i'm glad to say they are so proud of me. Having one brother, three sisters (including Shalonda) a nephew, a aunt ,and a uncle, with my grandma and mother looking over us makes us a strong family that can survive throughout anything makes me even more happier. This is all i got and all i have and i will do anything to protect my family and too keep us stronger. As a family we struggle sometimes but we always keep our head up while moving forward. When we come together we laugh, cry, and cherish one another. My family is so beautiful and the house we live in is so beautiful and i'm very thankful for each and everyone one of them. In my English class we our now focused on poems and how to understand the meaning of poetry. When I first read a poem I didn't like it just because I didn't understand them. I gave up on poetry because I had to keep reading them over and over again. Reading poems was pretty bored until I got the concept of how to break down the meaning of poetry. looking for the overall theme, literary elements has helped me develop my skills from the past and moving forward. without these skills I wouldn't able to tell others about poems I have read and what they are about. I'm glad that our class is focused on this topic because I have a lot to share. I'm really looking forward in my English class this semester. I want to start off strong and end off strong because last semester was really difficult.

My Second Passion

Working with kids is my second passion. The reason why is because it gives me the opportunity to help them become successful in the future and set goals for themselves. As an individual I would like for my kids to experience things I never got the chance to experience. Seeing them grow and learn new things always put a smile on my face. Knowing that my kids come to this program called "Roads To Success" everyday shows me how eager they are to be something in life. My program give kids a safe environment where they can have fun, express themselves, and learn from one another. Having different role models there to push them makes it even better because it gives them the chance to understand that where there for them and to teach them what's wrong and what's right.
